Wisconsin Cycling Association cyclocross is coming to north central at Sunny Vale Park in Wausau on Sept. 11.

The event – which combines elements of road and mountain biking with running — is a collaboration of Red Eye Brewing Co., Gryphon Velo Racing and Casey Hildebrandt of The Underground Project.

Cross of the North is being held under the auspices of USA Cycling and is in the midst of the official permitting process.
