There was a full slate of events around the state this weekend, from a time trial in far western Wisconsin and gravel in northern parts of the state, to a fast and flowy crit race near Appleton.

Challenging courses and above-average regional race fields were the order of the weekend for three days of racing at the La Crosse Ominum (uphill time trial, road race, criterium) this past weekend.

A bit of a late start to the WCA road season due to winter weather the past few weeks, but things finally got underway in Milwaukee this past weekend, along with a very brown ride at the annual Dairy Roubaix in southwestern Wisconsin.

Gryphon Velo Racing riders made the trip to Westby this past weekend for three days of riding in the hilly Driftless region of Wisconsin.
Riders were greeting with sunny skies but frigid sub-freezing temperatures for most of the weekend, but all left with a respectable number of miles and elevation climbed.
The team also had a pair of members racing in road and gravel events in Wisconsin and Illinois.

With the road racing season just weeks away, Gryphon Velo Racing is excited to announce De Pere-based Gemini Plastics Inc. has joined the team as a business partner for the 2018 and 2019 seasons.
