Looking back over the photos there was a lot of dirt nd mud in September.

The month started off with the last of the road race season before slipping into the first five cyclocross races and a number of late-season mountain bike races — including the Chequamegon Fat Tire Festival.

August sure seemed to go quick, but it saw GVR riders active — and successful — in races from Michigan to Wisconsin and Indiana.

July was a busy month for the team with riders putting up results in everything from road and gravel to downhill mountain biking and the Door County Triathlon.

Looking back over the photos for the month, June was huge.

We had riders racing in and out of Wisconsin; on the road and on dirt; and at the Tour of America’s Dairyland. We also has a riders proving bike lead out for the Elite runners at the Bellin Run in Green Bay.

I’m not even sure where to start with this month of racing.

We had riders take stage wins and podiums at the La Crosse Omnium, as well as Matt Becker taking an overall victory in the three-day event. Devin Yoder scored his first career win at the Bear 100 and may of our usual (and not-so-usual) suspects put up some really nice results this month.

We had riders racing events from road and mountain bike to triathlons in more than a half dozen states the is past month.

With new kits in 2022, the roster is process of getting an update: new design for the roster “cards” as well as clickable photos — some of which include some biographical information about our riders. You can check out the roster page here: https://gryphonveloracing.com/roster/.

After a two year break due to the pandemic, GVR Camp returned this year for three days of riding in and around Westby, Wisconsin.

Unless you were racing in places like Arizona and Missouri, it was a pretty chilly month.

GVR members were active in a number of races around the Midwest this past month, including a second-place finish in the women’s category in USA Cycling Division of the Rough Road 100.

March didn’t bring much spring like weather to Wisconsin, but a few bare legs were seen in the middle of the month.

Team riders were busy heading to warmer climates to race, finishing up their fat bike seasons and making the first forays into the collegiate road race season.

February saw the team racing racing on the snow, dirt and FINALLY starting to make the transition late in the month to road.

A new year brings with it a whole new set of results.

GVR riders were active on the snow and gravel throughout the first month of 2022. Oh, and a bunch of riders also made the trip to Arkansas to watch Cyclocross Worlds.
