One of our annual traditions is releasing the team’s season review video the week of Thanksgiving. Looking back over the 2019 season we have a lot to be thankful for: first and foremost the people who make up the squad.

Frozen ground, mud and a few Twinkie hand-ups were an appropriate end to a very wet and dirty 2019 Wisconsin cyclocross season at the Wisconsin State CX at Trek Headquarters Saturday.

The early onset of winter continued to create interesting racing conditions in Wisconsin, while it was sunny and relatively dry at the Major Taylor Cross Cup in Indiana this weekend.

It was mud, snow and mess all over the Upper Midwest this weekend with GVR riders nabbing several podiums at events in Wisconsin and Michigan.

A nice late fall weekend greeted GVR riders at the Cross Fire ‘cross race in Sun Prairie, Wisconsin, Saturday.

Gryphon Velo Racing had a strong weekend showing with riders scoring a number of wins and podiums at three races around Wisconsin Saturday.

Elevation and tight turns were the name of the game at Badger Prairie Cross near Madison on Saturday. Oh yeah, and it was the first cold weekend of the season.

Grafton Pumpkin Cross offered riders large fields, soild racing and a few new course wrinkles this year (barrier on the hill anyone?).

After last week’s mudfest at Trek Cup, it was nice to get one day of dry, sunny racing on Saturday. GVR had a contingent of riders racing cross in Milwaukee while others scored individual achievements in gravel and mountain bike races over the weekend.
