The critical mass of the team was at Trek CX Cup in Waterloo, Wisconsin, this weekend for three days of hot and dusty ‘cross racing as part of a UCI World Cup stop.
We also had riders at the Marji Gesick 100 in Michigan and the Skull-N-Bones Gravel event in northern Wisconsin. A run down of race results can be found here.
This weeks racing action was focused on the dirt at the Chequamegon Fat Tire 40 where a quartet of team riders took on the massive fields and hot temperatures in the annual event.

The first weekend of WCA Cyclocross racing yielded some strong team results and a lot of smiles.

The Reforestation Camp north of Green Bay was the epicenter of racing this weekend with a pair of off road races Saturday night and Sunday. Oh yeah, and we had some riders at Road America during the week, too.

There’s a price to pay for racing Ore To Shore: little rusty red mud/dirt spots that like to make a permanent home in your jersey. They were abundant again in the 2017 edition of the race this past weekend.

Cyclocross racing returns to North Central Wisconsin Oct. 1 with Cross Of The North at Sunny Vale Park in Wausau.
The race is part of the 2017 Wisconsin Cycling Association ‘Cross series, and one of the races making up the newly introduced (and still-a-work-in-progress) Hinterlands Cyclocross (Sub) Series.
Cyclocross combines the best of road and mountain biking with a little bit of running tossed in for good measure. This is the second year of the event.
